Sarah started up Blakeway North in 2008 after running the documentaries department at Granada Television. Sarah has hundreds of hours of programming under her belt and credits with all major broadcasters including Channel 4, BBC, ITV, Channel Five, Sky, Discovery Health, TLC and Trio.
Her pre-Blakeway Exec-Producer credits include A Child's Life Trilogy for Channel 4, which included the channel's highest rated documentary of 2007 - The Smallest People in the World, Born in the USSR - 21 Up Russia ; Real Life - Teenage Pregnant Sisters (ITV) and Mum Heroin and Me (C4)
Sarah’s programmes have won multiple RTS awards, the Golden Eagle Award, The Sandford St Martin Premiere Award, The BMA Film Award, How Do & Prolific North awards, and others have been nominated or shortlisted for Grierson, Broadcast and BAFTA awards
Sarah is on the RTS NW committee and sits by invitation on assorted industry awards juries.
